We know what’s keeping you up at night

High school is a massive leap: bigger social pressures, more independence expected, and less hand-holding. For parents of students with autism, that transition can feel overwhelming. You’re not alone, and you’re right to prepare early.

Parent Questions

What Parents Ask Us

These are the real questions parents ask before enrolling.
We believe you deserve clear, direct answers, not vague reassurances.

“Will my child be able to handle the social pressure? Making friends, group projects, navigating cliques…”

Social navigation is one of our four core pillars. We practice real peer interactions, self-advocacy, and group dynamics in a structured, safe environment before they face it alone.

“My child struggles to start tasks without prompting. How will they manage homework and deadlines?”

We specifically target executive functioning: task initiation, time management, and planning. These are teachable skills, and ABA is the gold standard for building them systematically.

“I worry they’ll get lost in a big program. Will they get individual attention?”

Our small group format with individualized goals means every student has their own skill targets. Your child is not a number here. They are a priority.

“What if they learn skills here but can’t use them in real high school?”

We use real-world high school scenarios throughout, not textbook exercises. Our focus is generalization: knowing when and how to use a skill, not just that it exists.

“My child has had bad experiences in group settings before. Will this be different?”

Every student enters at their own pace. Our ABA-trained specialists structure group activities so each child experiences success, building confidence before complexity.

“Is this the right time? My child still has a year before high school…”

Earlier is better. The skills we build – organization, self-advocacy, independence – take time to become habits. Starting now means they walk in confident, not catching up.

Our Approach

ABA that prepares students for the real world.

Applied Behavior Analysis isn’t just a methodology. It is the most research-supported approach for helping individuals with autism build lasting, meaningful skills.

The difference in our program: we take ABA beyond the clinic and into the real world. We teach your child not just what to do, but when to do it, why it matters, and how to adapt when things don’t go as planned.

Every goal is individualized. Every skill is measured. Every student progresses at their own pace with full transparency for families.

Evidence-based goals Every skill target is grounded in peer-reviewed ABA research and tailored to high school demands.

Generalization built in Skills are practiced across multiple settings so they transfer to real high school environments, not just our center.

Family involvement You are a partner, not a bystander. Progress updates and family coaching are part of the program.

Qualified specialists Our team brings direct expertise in autism, adolescent development, and school-based transitions.

The Process

From enrollment to confidence, step by step.

We make the process simple for families. Here’s exactly what happens when you reach out.

1

Free Consultation Call

You speak directly with one of our specialists: no sales pitch, no pressure. We learn about your child, their current skills, what worries you most about the transition, and whether this program is the right fit.

2

Skills Assessment

We conduct a brief, structured assessment to understand your child’s current academic, social, and executive functioning baseline. This shapes their individualized goals within the group program.

3

Individualized Goal Plan

Before day one, you receive your child’s specific skill targets, how progress will be tracked, and what success looks like. You’ll always know what we’re working on and why.

4

Program Begins With Family Updates

Your child joins a small group of peers working toward similar goals. We provide regular progress reports and parent coaching to ensure skills are reinforced at home too.

5

High School Ready

Students complete the program with measurable skills, practiced strategies, and the confidence that comes from having done it before. That’s the goal we build toward from day one.

Questions

Frequently asked by families like yours.

If your question isn’t here, contact us directly. We answer every inquiry personally.

What age or grade level is this program designed for?

This program is designed for students who are preparing for the transition to high school, typically students in middle school (grades 6-8). We assess each student individually to confirm readiness and fit during the initial consultation.

How is this different from school-based support or an IEP program?

School-based supports are important, but they often focus on academic accommodations, not proactive skill-building. Our program specifically teaches the skills that IEPs assume: organization, self-advocacy, social navigation, before high school begins. We complement, not replace, existing supports.

How many students are in each group?

Groups are intentionally small to ensure each student receives meaningful individual attention while also practicing real peer dynamics. Exact group size is shared during the enrollment process. Spots are limited by design.

My child has significant support needs. Is this program appropriate?

We assess each student before enrollment to ensure the program is the right fit. We will always be honest with you about whether our format serves your child’s needs well or whether a different type of support would be more appropriate. Your child’s success matters more to us than a filled seat.

How are parents kept informed of progress?

Families receive regular data-based progress updates. We also offer parent coaching to help you reinforce skills at home. You will never be left guessing. Transparency is core to how we work.
